Fravento Cibo e Vino nasce nel cinquecentesco convento dei Cappuccini di Mondavio.
In questo luogo di pace e tranquillità, proponiamo un menu con piatti semplici e genuini. La carta è particolarmente attenta ai vini naturali e ai prodotti del nostro territorio. Cerchiamo di selezionare con cura le materie prime direttamente da agricoltori e allevatori stabilendo con loro un rapporto di amicizia e fiducia nel rispetto della terra e della natura.
Vogliamo condividere con voi curiosità e passione per il gusto e la qualità della vita: mangiare genuino e bere con calma, in vista Mondavio e la sua Rocca, non lontani i monti Catria e Nerone.

Fravento Cibo e Vino was born in the sixteenth-century convent of the Capuchins of Mondavio. In this place of peace and tranquillity, we offer a menu with simple and genuine dishes. The menu is particularly attentive to natural wines and local products. We try to carefully select the raw materials directly from local farmer, establishing a relationship of friendship and trust with them in respect of the land and nature. We want to share with you our passion: to eat genuinely and drink calmly, with a view of Mondavio and its fortress, not far from the Catria and Nerone mountains.

La Vineria di Fravento Cibo e Vino è uno spazio riservato al vostro aperitivo. Troverete vini di piccoli produttori locali, vini biologici e biodinamici di cantine selezionate, con qualche eccellenza estera, accompagnati dalle gustose proposte della cucina. Inoltre durante l’estate potrete assaporare i cocktail speciali di Fravento accompagnati dai nostri piatti. Vi aspettiamo nella cornice rilassante del grande giardino di Fravento, in vista la Rocca di Mondavio e sullo sfondo i suggestivi tramonti sui nostri Appennini.

The “Vineria” of Fravento Cibo e Vino is a space reserved for your aperitif. You will find wines from small local producers, organic and biodynamic wines from selected wineries, with some foreign excellence, accompanied by tasty cuisine proposals. Also during the summer you can enjoy the special cocktails of Fravento accompanied by our dishes. We await you in the relaxing setting of the large garden of Fravento, with a view of the Rocca di Mondavio and in the background the evocative sunsets over our Apennines.

Nel febbraio 2021 abbiamo ospitato lo chef Davide Larise per un corso privato sulla cucina vegetariana e vegana. Non avevamo dubbi sul suo talento e sulle sue competenze nell’insegnamento, la sua storia parla da sola. Quello che non immaginavamo però è che avremmo trascorso una settimana con una persona estremamente curiosa, generosa e appassionante. Nel nostro menu troverete sempre più proposte vegane e vegetariane.

In February 2021 we hosted chef Davide Larise for a private course on vegetarian and vegan cuisine. We had no doubts about his talent and his teaching skills, his story speaks for itself. What we didn’t imagine however is that we would spend a week with an extremely curious, generous and passionate person. In our menu you will find more and more vegan and vegetarian proposals.

Il ristorante Fravento Cibo e Vino nasce nel cinquecentesco Convento dei Cappuccini di Mondavio, uno dei borghi più belli delle Marche. Le sale interne conservano un’atmosfera intima e serena e sono arredate con un gusto minimalista che ben si accorda agli spazi dell’antica struttura. All’esterno, l’ampio piazzale accoglie cerimonie importanti e offre alla vista un panorama stupendo: Mondavio e la sua Rocca famosa in tutto il mondo, le rilassanti colline marchigiane e all’orizzonte i monti Catria e Nerone.Il piccolo chiostro, incastonato nel complesso architettonico rinascimentale, ospita cerimonie più riservate (max 50 coperti) attorno all’antico pozzo centrale e sotto un tetto di stelle. Il grande parco verde che circonda Fravento è ideale per piccole passeggiate, scattare fotografie e far giocare in sicurezza i bambini. In questo luogo carico di storia Linda e Giulia Carnaroli, rispettivamente sommelier e chef, hanno dato vita a un’avventura enogastronomica di prim’ordine. Le due sorelle selezionano con cura le materie prime direttamente da agricoltori e allevatori stabilendo con loro un rapporto di amicizia e fiducia nel rispetto della terra e della natura. La loro scelta dei vini è particolarmente attenta a quelli naturali con proposte di eccellenze locali ed estere. Tutto questo fa di Fravento il luogo ideale per rendere indimenticabile la tua festa.

The Fravento Cibo e Vino restaurant was born in the sixteenth-century Convent of the Capuchins of Mondavio, one of the most beautiful villages in the Marche region. The internal rooms retain an intimate and serene atmosphere and are furnished with a minimalist taste that fits well with the spaces of the ancient structure. Outside, the large square welcomes important ceremonies and offers a wonderful view: Mondavio and its fortress famous all over the world, the relaxing hills of Marche region and, on the horizon, the Catria and Acuto mountains. The small cloister, set in the Renaissance architectural complex, hosts more private ceremonies (max 50 seats) around the ancient central well and under a roof of stars. The large green park that surrounds Fravento is ideal for short walks, taking photographs and for children to play safely. In this place steeped in history, Linda and Giulia Carnaroli, respectively sommelier and chef, have created a first-rate food and wine adventure.
